O.J. Simpson: Guilty

If you spent the weekend outdoors and away from any media, good for you! While you were actually enjoying life, a jury in Las Vegas convicted O.J. Simpson of kidnapping and armed robbery. Simpson, who is currently being kept separate from other inmates, is planning an appeal, the success of which seems unlikely. The news, coupled with a German artist's claim that she has stolen the ashes of Kurt Cobain (he was in a band called Nirvana, you can learn more about them on Wikipedia) and will roll them into a joint and smoke it as a component of her "installation project", officially brings an end the the '90s.
