The burgeoning mega-monied class is keeping a host of aging rockstars in business, flying them in on private jets for their birthdays, weddings, and New Years' vodka luge parties.
Indeed, financier Steve Schwarzman, the CEO of the Blackstone Group, <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2007/01/27/business/27party.html?em&ex=1170046800&en=4121f2287227f718&ei=5087%0A " target="_blank">has booked Rod Stewart (pricetag: $1 million) to perform at his 60th birthday party on February 13 at the Park Avenue Armory, and is inviting 1,500 of his nearest and dearest to celebrate the wrinkly occasion.
