NEA: Why Don't You Love Art?

HE'S THIS THIN BECAUSE HE'S TOO POOR TO BUY FOOD Modern Artist The NEA, just like the Senate Intelligence Committee, has just released a big report that no one will read! They have assessed the lives of America's two million artists—and hey, that's about the same as the number of Americans in jail! According to the AP writeup of the study, artists are, on average, paid less than "professionals." But the AP doesn't note that artists are paid more than the average income of the total labor force. When will rich artists stop bleeding this country dry? The NEA notes that artists are often underemployed (shocker) which those Marxists down in Washington think is a problem. Somehow they don't actually put the blame on the growth of the art school industrial complex, which, much like the journalism school industrial complex, fills the heads of the young with unreasonable dreams and then extracts their life force over the course of decades via the evil collection agents of Fanny Mae.
