PUSH 'EM BACK, WAY BACK Pelosi Hey, class! Are you ready for 2007, the bestest year in Congress ever? New House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sure is, to judge from the excellent pep rally she's throwing for herself and her congressional pals to celebrate their new term.
In what Australia's the Age is already referring to as "Nancy Fest," Pelosi is celebrating the new Democrat-controlled Congress with a $1,000-a-head gala featuring Richard Gere, Tony Bennett, Wyclef Jean, Carole King, and members of the Grateful Dead. (See, even the kids from the smoking area are welcome in Nancy's clique-less school!)
