Obama did pitch-perfect appearances on both Larry King and The Daily Show Wednesday. She is the first person this endless political season who has not flubbed or choked in the slightest. UPDATE: I mean IN THESE APPEARANCES. And now was the perfect time to bring her back out. As Barack Obama now has to endlessly discuss policy and finance, which can make him seem a little (or a lot!) dull, she gets to carry the banner of hopeyness and tell cute stories about the kids and say she loves Hillary Clinton and hasn't noticed this Sarah Palin person and all the while just look so insanely confident—the perfect antidote to the shrill pitbull shtick of Palin on the road. Never has someone had to say so many words in one day and not made a single mistake. She was better with Larry King than with Jon Stewart, largely because Stewart is insanely sycophantic—well, The Daily Show clip follows, see for yourself.
