NOT CHEAP McCarthy
Give Jenny McCarthy her flat water and privacy, America. The former MTV starlet was in rare form in a paid appearance for Ripley's Believe It or Not Odditorium's grand opening in Times Square late last week. After schlepping down the press line in the humidity, McCarthy was ushered into the gift shop, where a staffer offered the overheated star a glass of Pellegrino. "Is it flat? Ugh. I can't drink this," she scoffed, and thrust the glass back, prompting the staffer to immediately use his Secret Service-style earpiece for the important request for flat water.

After hearing that McCarthy's typically a homebody who likes her privacy, RadarOnline.com asked what it took to get her out that night. "Money!" she said, beaming a smile. (RadarOnline.com reported in 2005 that she makes as much as $50,000 per appearance.) So how much money did she make for this event? "I just told you, I'm private! I can't say!"
