McCain Heckler Adam Kokesh At Large

YOU CAN'T WIN A WHAT NOW? Kokesh at the RNC The extremely hot American hero and former Marine Adam Kokesh has struck again! (We profiled the anti-war activist last summer.) He interrupted John McCain's acceptance speech last night and was removed very quickly—and was actually released back into the wild outside the RNC, which is remarkable. Kokesh reports that he wanted to make a point about McCain's actual record on veterans, and says that inside the RNC, he was simply molested a bit and not beaten by a bunch of Alaskan thugs. Kokesh is a member of Iraq Veterans Against the War—and also a hardcore Libertarian, but we try not to hold that against him. It's all "Ron Paul, the Constitution, Bob Barr la la la" but it's just noise to us, because you know when people start talking about putting money "back on the gold standard" that they've never actually had any.
