Apparently Langella's financial demands, and lack of UK cachet to support them, caused a rift to develop between the two actors, eventually leading to them refusing to share a curtain call. When Sheen was nominated for Best Actor at a London theater awards ceremony, guess who turned down the chance to present another award? Langella.
