Madonna's Split Ends

Like a Virgin was the first cassette tape we ever owned. We used to roll Jelly bracelets up our arms, affix odd bows to our head, and belt out lyrics into our hairbrush without actually realizing at all what it meant to be touched for the very first time. Sounded cool and exciting though, for sure! We were all the way in. And if you'd asked us back then what life would be like 20 years later, we probably would have said we'd be a world-reknowned actor/astronaut/writer/caped crusader with at least five children. Even with our elaborate imagination we would not have predicted Madonna would still be dominating tabloid headlines.

But dominate she does. With a divorce again!
