Madonna Complex: The Rules Of Marriage

Future suitors may think twice about marrying Madonna when they take a peek at the marriage contract the very material girl had with her soon to be ex-husband Guy Richie.
"It's a very stifling, micro-managing document," said one Richie friend. "I mean, Guy is a film director, and even he thought it was controlling."
Among its many stipulations are that "Guy must work to enrich his wife's emotional and spiritual well-being," must "resolve conflicts in a constructive way," and even must "set aside time to read Kabbalah texts with his wife."
While many men might accept the clause about "devoting time to our sexual expressiveness," most would probably find the rest a bit too high maintenance.
Madonna apparently posted the contract in their New York home two years ago following a number of marriage counseling sessions, according to various reports. And whenever Guy stepped out of bounds, she would reportedly say "Contract, Guy, contract." (Good dog!)
