• Save the children: A Malawi-rights group is taking aim at Madonna for adopting David Banda, a one-year-old boy. "We will meet the judge sometime next week and proceed with an injunction pending the process of adoption granted to Madonna last week by the High Court," an attorney for the group told a Reuters reporter.
• Facing the world: Isabelle Dinoire, the French woman who had someone else's face attached to hers after a dog bite, finds herself at the center of a debate about the medical ethics of face transplantation. While she's doing well, there are still risk according to some doctors. Dinoire told CNN, "It may be someone else's face, but when I look in the mirror, I see me."
