Republican Senator Larry Craig's toe-tappin' bathroom hijinks are no surprise to blogger Michael Rogers. He called Craig gay back in October '06. And on his site, BlogActive, where he maintains a list of other allegedly gay anti-gay public officials, Rogers posted YouTube clips (one above) from 1982, in which Craig preemptively denies being involved in a congressional page scandal (way before Mark Foley made it de rigueur).

The best line from the clip, in which Craig is speaking to a blue-haired Idaho constituency: "People who are unmarried, like myself Craig has since married, have always been the subject of innuendos, gossip, or false accusation. I think this is despicable."
