SAFETY PATROL Oka
• Attendees to Maxim's Hot 100 extravaganza were free from harm last night,
thanks in part to Masi Oka, better known as Hiro Nakamura from NBC's
Heroes. At the bash, held at Ono at the Gansevoort in Manhattan Wednesday night, Oka entered with four blondes in tow and told RadarOnline.com he was there to work. "Do you see anyone in trouble here?" Nope. "See? Then I've done my job right and kept everyone safe." As Oka concluded his statement, a large glass dish shattered nearby. "Well, I'm only tasked with guarding people," quick Oka quipped. "Glassware is a whole other story."
• Kim Kardashian offered well wishes for her fellow amateur porn star Paris Hilton at the same party. "I am just praying for Paris. I hope she is doing really well," Kardashian told RadarOnline.com. "She is a very tough girl ... I am praying for Paris and I love her." And who does she think will be allowed to give Paris conjugal visits? "Um, her family. Her family."
• Please don't mistake Josh Holloway for Kid Rock. Presented with an array of free gear from the Upfronts swag lounge at the Ritz-Carlton in Manhattan, the Lost star maintained his composure, commenting, "We don't want to take things that we're not going to use." When he tried on a navy Cha Cha straw fedora with ribbon trim from Milk boutique, he blurted out: "They keep calling me Kid Rock when I wear one of those!"
