Karl Vs. the Roving Pranksters: Round 1
Oct. 27 2008, Published 7:07 a.m. ET
Karl Rove may be Bush's brain, but he doesn't have the smarts to protect his whip from pesky Democrats or some other mysterious group of marauding miscreants.
When Rove returns with the president aboard Marine One this afternoon, two days before Rove's retirement, he's in for a surprise: His Jaguar, parked on West Executive Avenue in a prime spot, has been shrouded in shrink wrap, two stuffed eagles mounted on the trunk, and an "I LOVE Obama" bumper sticker on the windshield. The rear window is covered with post-it notes that spell out "KING KARL."
