• Devil in the detail: In 2005, a Virginia judge declared Cho Seung-Hui "an imminent danger" to himself but failed to check the box that would label Cho as "an imminent danger to others."
• Shooter bullied: According to former classmates, Cho rarely spoke and was frequently pushed down or otherwise harassed. He was known for his "blank stare."
• J-school rape suspect: Police ID 30-year-old William Roberts as a suspect in the 19-hour-long rape and torture of a Columbia University journalism student in her Hamilton Heights apartment last week.
