COMPLETELY 'JOSSED' Stone
Joss Stone's off-kilter performance and her ensuing backstage antics at last month's Brit Awards were a train wreck spotter's dream, unusual for the singer of mildly forgettable bourgeois dinner party music. But the backlash is still going strong.
Topping off her bizzare-o, disoriented behavior on stage that evening, Stone obligingly gave an "interview" to a pair of security guards whose walkie talkies she had mistaken for tape recorders.

Unfortunately for the befuddled songstress, the mishap didn't go unnoticed, and it added to a rising din among music execs that Stone is on the edge. "She has been told to take a long, hard look at the people she is hanging around with," is how one source put it to the Daily Mail. The root of her problems, the paper reports, is excessive use of marijuana. "Joss spent a large chunk of last year in Barbados recording her new album, and that is where she got quite into smoking dope," another tipster piped in.
