Joe Lieberman Demonstrates His Bipartisan Bona Fides By Being Equally Boring For Republicans

If you missed Senator Joe Lieberman's speech last night at the Republican National Convention, consider yourself lucky. (Though not as lucky as if you missed the total snoozer by Fred Thompson, who looks like he can't even be bothered to read the teleprompter anymore.) Lieberman, the Independent from the state of Selfrighteousprickicut, stood up for his good friend John McCain and extolled his virtues: honor, dignity, and not being a Democrat, which is Lieberman's most important qualification in this election. If you can stomach it, take a look: at minimum, it reminds you that there was at least one small part of Al Gore's loss in the 2000 election that wasn't a total disaster for this country.
