LO-DOWN Lopez
Jennifer Lopez has been court-ordered to submit a deposition for a lawsuit involving her canceled TV show, South Beach. Jack Bunick, writer turned sue-happy legal pimp, claims that Lopez, among others, stole his idea from a 1999 pilot called South Beach Miami. When J.Lo's legal crew complained, Bunick's lawyer Sheldon Farber fired back, "I am unaware that one of the perks of fame is protection from the legal process." Farber did little to soften the "inconvenience" of Ms. Lo's court appearance when he "assured the court that he will not ask for her autograph." Apparently he's not a fan.
