First daughter Jenna Bush married Henry Hager in a weekend-long, cows-and-all ceremony in Crawford, Texas. God showed up. Near beer flowed. And for at least a couple of days, the woes of a recession, war, and lame duck presidency melted away.

There were heartfelt toasts and a towering cake, and after the ceremony, several bombs were dropped on strategic sites in Iraq and Afghanistan in the name of the new couple. Jenna wore a slinky Oscar de la Renta gown and danced with her father to Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful." "Our little girl Jenna married a really good guy, Henry Hager.
