On the Jenna Bush Wedding Snub of Jew David Lauren

We have doubts as to whether this is true, but it's awkward if it is: According to the Daily News, the shadowy WASP elders who preside over the Bush clan didn't invite David Lauren, son of Ralph Lauren and boyfriend of George Bush's niece Lauren Bush, to Jenna Bush's upcoming wedding because they think the Polo heir is not only too old for Lauren, but also too Jew-y.
David, 36, has been dating Lauren, 22, for three years, and still hasn't popped the question, much to the dismay of Lauren's conservative grandparents. And then there's this:
"'There are religious difference,' one source points out. 'Would he expect her to convert to Judaism?' Lauren's mother, Sharon, is a devout Christian."
