'It Boy' Fabian Basabe Resurfaces

We're sure you've been tossing and turning at night wondering what erstwhile "It Boy"/Nightlife Clown Fabian Basabe has been busying his pretty little head with days. Well, you're in luck. Today a company called Alessi Skin Care, which specializes in the kind of expensive, anti-aging face serums an aging screen siren might swear by, has announced their partnership with Basabe.
Unfortunately, the Latino party kid wont be the new "face" of the brand. Instead he's working with Alessi's charity, "Face Forward," which helps female victims of domestic violence. In a press release that's so amusing it should be read, and savored, in full, the beauty flacks note, "The Alessi-Basabe connection will take a household epidemic out of the shadows ... and onto the red carpet where it cannot be ignored." Basabe reportedly threw a bash for the cream's politically correct campaign in Vegas, of all places, no doubt just oozing with "red carpet glamor." Footage of the rad event will air tonight on Lifetime's show Top This Party. We're canceling our dinner plans, for sure.
