MOBY-LIZE $7.5M buys Moby's UWS Manhattan joint at the El Dorado
Once the poster boy of downtown Manhattan, Moby famously packed up his act early last year and moved to the Upper West Side—to a $4.5 million, five-floor penthouse at the exclusive El Dorado on Central Park West, home to such celebs as Marilyn Monroe, Faye Dunaway, Nina Griscom, Charles Rockefeller, and Bono.
Likely disoriented, possibly tempted by kosher meats, and, worse, going largely unrecognized among the scads of Upper West Siders who look just like him (minus even a stitch of irony), Moby the Meatless put his uptown aerie on the market for a staggering $7.5 million.
