Homosexuality has long been frowned upon in Iran. Now, make-up, "wearing boots with short pants," "Western-style clothes and insignias of deviant groups (Satanists or rappers)," and making "private home-made videos" will land you on supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's shit list as well. These no-nos, among others, were on a list of social "vices" published by conservative newspaper Jomhuri Eslami (check out the minimalist website!) as part of a police crackdown on thugs, drug-dealers, scantily clad women, and other individuals who allegedly pose a menace to society.
