OUTLAWS Girls in Iran
Homosexuality has long been frowned upon in Iran. Now, make-up, "wearing boots with short pants," "Western-style clothes and insignias of deviant groups (Satanists or rappers)," and making "private home-made videos" will land you on supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's shit list as well. These no-nos, among others, were on a list of social "vices" published by conservative newspaper Jomhuri Eslami (check out the minimalist website!) as part of a police crackdown on thugs, drug-dealers, scantily clad women, and other individuals who allegedly pose a menace to society.
While the new restrictions will likely force hot pants and Fubu jackets back into the closet, heathens can take solace in the fact that they can still purchase condoms produced at the only state-supported condom factory in the Middle East. Book your flight to Tehran for spring break now!
