DAZED AND CONFUSED Kendra Wilkinson Hugh Hefner: One of Hef's girlfriends, the "sporty one," Kendra Wilkinson, was upset at Daphne Merkin's portrayal of her "dazed personality and limited vocabulary" in Elle. Hef promised Kendra he'd write a strongly worded letter to Merkin in her defense, but instead wrote a brownnosing note: "I just finished reading your article ... and think it's the best, most perceptive piece on the show to date." Kendra probably won't catch him in the lie because she doesn't know what "perceptive" means.

Pete Wentz: Cut the potty line with girlfriend Ashlee Simpson at his new bar, Angels & Kings. He told the people waiting in the queue, "We're going to puke. Seriously, we're both going to be really sick," before proceeding to spend 10 minutes in the loo with Simpson. Puking? Is that what the kids are calling it these days?
