now we've all seen this clip of Hillary Clinton's flailing attempts to operate an automated coffee machine at an Indiana gas station. While it's easy enough to mock how out of touch she is (let's remember, this is a woman who, due to Secret Service policies, hasn't been able to drive a car since 1992), might we not be better off abandoning the whole charade that the men and women who are going to serve as president need to be "just like normal people"? If you've spent anytime stranded behind some jackass at an ATM lately you know exactly how bright the average American is. It's a hell of a lot more important to me that the people running the country know which button to push for the nukes than for the cream and sugar.
