Both Entertainment Tonight and The Insider have decided not to run video footage of recently deceased Australian actor Heath Ledger snorting blow at noted Los Angeles coke den Chateau Marmont "out of respect" for Ledger's family, according to a note on ET's website. Or, rather, because airing the footage—which producers reportedly shelled out $200,000 for—would seriously damage the sycophantic shows' relationships with the Hollywood celebrities they desperately rely on for daily content. But same thing, really!

In the footage, which was taken without Ledger's knowledge after the SAG Awards two years ago, Ledger reportedly says before snorting, "I'm going to get serious shit from my girlfriend." (The girlfriend in question, Michelle Williams, had given birth to daughter Matilda three months prior.) He also cops to being a pretty serious pothead, claiming, "I used to smoke five joints a day for 20 years."

Now, dude was at a Hollywood party celebrating a SAG best actor nomination for Brokeback Mountain; the revelation that he was doing a little blow isn't exactly shocking. But lighting up five times a day since the age of seven? We're not ones to judge, but goddamn. That is a lot of weed.
