Janet Crown Peterson, of the philanthropic Chicago Crowns (one of the world's richest families) and estranged wife of celebrity fitness guru Gunnar Peterson, has put her pumped-up Beverly Hills mansion on the block for a hefty $27 million. Considering Ms. Peterson purchased the property in 1997 for $4,450,000 from Hollywood producer and serial renovator Gale Anne Hurd (who has recently listed her own Pasadena mansion), someone should test the listing for 'roids.

Peterson's heavy decision to sell might have something to do with the impending divorce. It might also have something to do with the place having a creepy vibe for Janet, 46, ever since her security guard stabbed her 23-year-old ex-lover, who allegedly broke into the house one night. He lived, but was arrested and served with a restraining order.
