Hil uses Billy bait: Hillary Clinton combats rumors of a negative GQ feature by forcing the men's monthly to make a choice: either kill the piece or lose access to her beloved husband for their slated George Saunders story. Editor Jim Nelson pulls the plug, claiming, "I don't really get into the inner workings of the magazine.... We kill pieces all the time for a variety of reasons."

$10 billion predator playpen: Facebook and Microsoft have reportedly been chatting in Silicon Valley about the rumored $10 billion value of the social networking site.

Party like it's 9/11: A Giuliani fundraiser in Palo Alto, California, will aim to raise $9.11 per person in an effort to reach a target of $10,000. A Giuliani spokeswoman has called the donation amount "unfortunate," though it's perfectly in line with the Rudy brand.
