Although reports that supermodel Gisele Bundchen was demanding to be paid in euros turned out to be false, perhaps she should reconsider.
Today news surfaced that the supermodel has cut the asking price on her New York triplex by $3 million, so perhaps eschewing the dollar altogether will make up for the blow. No longer eight-figures, the apartment, which features stunning views of, um, New Jersey, is now a relative bargain at $7,900,000. Still way above average in terms of price-per-square-foot in Manhattan, but consider: There's sure be a slimy hedge funder out there willing to drop serious bank to sit in a rooftop jacuzzi that once cradled the Brazilian's bod.
