Gervais turned up to meet the team of U.S. executives behind the ad who then pitched him their idea of a "cool" guy and a "nerdy" guy representing a Mac and a PC. Gervais listened intently and then asked, poker faced, "So who are you thinking of getting to play the nerdy chap?" The suits looked at each other nervously, several squirmed in their seats, working out how to tell Gervais he'd got it wrong. And Ricky waited an absolute age before cracking a smile, saying "only kidding!"
