AT THE TOP OF THE TENTS AmEx-ers catch a private showing with society gal Kate Schelter (right) For those with the funds but without the industry connections to make it into the shows, American Express has teamed up with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to offer cardmembers the "Fashion Week experience"—for a price. Ranging from around $200 to upward of $700, Gold, Platinum, and Black cardmembers have the opportunity to purchase their way up to the top of the tents. American Express has been offering this Fashion Week experience for three years now and it's been gaining more and more popularity with each upcoming season.
