Elizabeth Edwards Speaks Out

John Edwards might have backed out of some scheduled, well-paid speaking engagements, but wife (at least we think they're still married; she's supposedly kicked him out of the house) Elizabeth Edwards has finally addressed the subject of his infidelity on the record. "People have this idea that we represented, as a couple, some sort of perfection," she told the Detroit Free Press. Obviously, Elizabeth shared the flawed perception: "You thought you were living in one novel and it turns out you were living in another," she said.
