Dude Who First Called Barack Obama a "Muslim" Not Exactly a Kosher Character

Meet Andy Martin, the man responsible for starting the whole "Barack Obama is a Wahhabi jihadist who pals around with terrorists" rumor that has since been picked up and repeated ad nauseum by everyone from nativist idiots at McCain-Palin rallies to Governor Palin herself!
Back in 2004, Martin—described in the New York Times with the funniest caption of all time, "Andy Martin is known for filing many lawsuits"—put out a press release claiming that "Obama is a Muslim who has concealed his religion." Four years later, his demonstrably false claim has managed to gain traction, to the point that nice ladies are calling Obama an "Arab" at town-hall-style meetings.
