MILLION DOLLAR SMILE Osorio Vindicated: Kimberly Osorio, the former Source editor who sued the magazine and its owners for wrongful termination, describing a sexually charged, hostile working environment, has been awarded $14.5 million by a federal jury in New York.
According to HipHopMusic.com, Osorio's claims included: Source owner Dave Mays cursing at female executives, allowing employees to threaten women with physical violence, and creating an environment so toxic, Osorio was afraid to leave her office. On the same site, Mays piled on by shooting back with allegations that Osorio "had sexual relations with a number of high profile rap artists during her employment as Editor-In-Chief."
