A note to the depraved ladies and gents still devastated by the news that SocialiteRank has folded: Though he won our poll, writer Derek Blasberg says he had nothing to do with the near-illiterate, now defunct scratching post.

Blasberg tells RadarOnline.com: "As much as I think I should maintain a 'no comment' policy here, the temptation to clear my name is too great. I want nothing to do with that site, have had nothing to do with that site, and the accusation that I would be behind that site insults my fledgling career, my profession, and my relationships with some of the ladies that, like me, are horrified by their inclusion on the site."
