Daily Kos Throws Weight Behind Mitt Romney in Michigan

COME TOGETHER, OVER ME Romney
The only thing standing between Mitt Romney and the ignominy of being the biggest bust of the 2008 campaign cycle are the voters in today's Michigan primary. And as the Mittster confronts the D-Day of his political career, he might find some unlikely allies diving into his foxhole to help ensure his survival. Republican-bashing blogger Markos Moulitsas (aka "Kos" of the Daily Kos) has called on Michigan Democrats to cross the aisle today and pull the lever for Romney, whose campaign is foundering after two primary losses in as many weeks.
The request is a relatively easy one of Wolverine lefties, as the Democratic candidates have essentially foregone the Michigan contest, and state election law leaves the Republican primary open to pretty much any voter who shows up. And the selling point (laid out by this new YouTube vid) is one that would resonate with just about every Kossack: Let's give the Republicans the very unpleasant rogering that is several more weeks of Mitt-bot electioneering.
