Allan That free trip to Vegas that some reporters and bloggers from the Huffington Post, Gawker, Vanity Fair, Fox News, CNN, and CNET took over the weekend sure is giving a headache to upper management at the New York Post, which had two representatives on the trip.

Portfolio's Jeff Bercovici is all indignant and asking Post editor Col Allan if the paper will reimburse Thrillist, which we hear isn't sitting well with Allan, who decided to express his displeasure by holding two stories written by the junketeers that were supposed to run on Tuesday. (We e-mailed and called Rubenstein PR for comment regarding Allan, but have yet to hear back.) Then there's the fact that some people who went on the trip are annoyed that they were outed by Rachel Sklar for attending. (Sklar notes that the event was not off the record, and that anyone identified in her article was made aware that she was a member of the press.) So pretty much everyone is pissed off except Thrillist, which made out like a bandit in terms of free publicity.
