Bush Finally Figures out Nuke Situation
Oct. 27 2008, Published 7:07 a.m. ET
It's tough to keep tabs on who we're warring with this month. And let's face it, the press corps is nursing pretty righteous heinous nog hangovers this morning. Factor in George W. Bush's own confusion on the issue of just who has newcular weapons, and it's completely understandable how a reporter mistook Iran for Iraq—and then tried to cover by saying both had nuclear weapons. What's astounding is Bush's insistence on correcting his error. One is left with the impression that Dubya is parroting a fact he, himself, finally grasped after months of drills and flashcards. (Note Bush's signature smirk and victory bob.)
