THESE ARMS OF MINE Prince Bandar It's been a tough week watching the careers of honorable public servants like Ehud Olmert and Ted Stevens go down the tubes just because they were greedy assholes who accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and gifts. But take heart corruption lovers—looks like Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan, head of Saudi Arabia's National Security Council, just got away scot-free after squeezing billions in bribes from the Brits.
Thanks, strangely, go to those lovable scamps in the British House of Lords, who ruled yesterday that the British fraud office did exactly the right thing in 2006 by abruptly halting their investigation into dirty arms deals between the Saudis and British arms behemoth BAE Systems that may have given Bandar up to $2 billion in kickbacks over the years.
Why, you ask?
