COMEBACK KID Gates A couple weeks back, Steve Jobs blew past Bill Gates on RadarOnline.com's Fame-O-Meter with the announcement of some new gadget, you might have heard it. iTelephone or something. The excitement was palpable. But people who surf the Internet reading about gadgets and geeks have shorter attention spans than ADD preschoolers, and the online attention has returned to new retiree Bill Gates. After stepping down from his day-to-day duties at Microsoft, Gates is shifting his focus to his philanthropic work, and the Fame-O-Meter is karmically rewarding him with big numbers. Sure, Wall-E scored a hit for Pixar, and in turn Steve Jobs, but Bill Gates is once again scoring more hits online.
