STREPPED OUT Usher

Insert "Usher" pun here: R&B singer Usher is leaving the Broadway production of Chicago, enabling hack headline writers the world over to make theater jokes about his name. But it's no laughing matter: Usher is suffering from the dreaded streptococcal pharyngitis, aka strep throat.

Back to the trailer: Country singer Sara Evans moseys on out of Dancing with the Stars, citing "personal reasons" for her abrupt departure. Lets hope it's not a Corey Clark situation.

UPDATE: Evans is leaving the show because she's divorcing her husband, a 2002 Republican candidate for Congress from Oregon. Evans alleges that her now-unemployed husband "committed adultery, was verbally/emotionally abusive, drank excessively, and frequently watched porn in the home." She'll need Tom Delay's support more than ever now.

That Bad?: Kevin Federline claims Britney's jaw "about dropped" when she heard his album.

Bushed: Realizing that no one quite cares about their music anymore, the Dixie Chicks return to doing what they do best: Bash the president.
