Stymied both by the arrival of the Alan Keyes crazy-train and the fact that Mitt Romney didn't march right across the stage and give Mike Huckabee the cock-punch he so richly deserves, Iowa Republicans are feeling sore about the results of this week's presidential debate. And they'd like another one before the January 3 caucus, please. An anonymous source tells Politico that officials with the state GOP are troubled by the "bad taste" caused by the debate's rules and rigid moderation, which brought Keyes into the mix and effectively prevented clashes between the leading candidates, and are now contemplating one final debate because, apparently, "Iowa deserves better than that." The debate would likely take place between Christmas and New Year's. Politico
