probably not even going to believe this, but Ann Coulter has gone and said something controversial again. This time: she hates John McCain so much that she's going to support Hillary Clinton. Her declaration (above), folded into a lengthy indictment of all things McCain, was uncorked during a visit with the boys on Hannity & Colmes last night. Coulter apparently intends to vote—and possibly even campaign—for Clinton if McCain gets the Republican nomination, because, for one thing, "Hillary is absolutely more conservative." Also, "she lies less than John McCain," and is at least aware of those instances when she's been caught being deceitful.

McCain, on the other hand, "is so stupid he doesn't even know when he's been caught." Coulter further assessed that Clinton "would be stronger on the war on terrorism." Alan Colmes, the liberal guy of the H&C duo, listened to the diatribe, exclaimed, "My job is done!" and asked her to take his place on the show for a bit. And he sincerely meant it, because everyone there knew that this wasn't just some purposefully provocative overstatement by a master of the monkey show that is contemporary political punditry.
