American Idol Participant Not So Idyllic

Current American Idol participant and Ricky Martin look-alike David Hernandez has become the latest reality show participant outed for exchanging a sexual service for money in a previous life. It seems pictures of Hernandez dancing at a male strip club in Phoenix have shockingly found their way to the Internet, thus making it unclear whether the cheeseball will be allowed to continue upon his quest for utter (though likely ephemeral) domination of our nation's radio waves.
By Gawker's tabulation, Hernandez is the ninth reality show contestant who has emerged with a checkered past despite having passed a network's screening process. Of course, the number doesn't include the legions of Survivors, Road Ruleers, and Amazing Raceers who removed their clothes for all the world to see after appearing on TV.
