American Idol Cuts it to Eight

SMALL FRIED Ramiele We're sorry, America, for saying you'd choose incorrectly this week. Ramiele Malubay, the tiniest of the American Idol contestants, was voted off last night for her rendition of Dolly Parton's "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind," and justice was served.
We'll also cop to our incorrect statement that Jason Castro should have been in the bottom group—especially since White's performance of "Jolene" was so off the mark. In watching the show again on DVR (so?!), it is clear that Castro was not as bad as the judges said. But there was so much more to Wednesday nights' dismissal episode:
