DRUMMER BOY Grenier
Why is it successful actors think they should also have successful bands as well? Following in the footsteps of Russell Crowe, Keanu Reeves, and Jared Leto, Adrian Grenier, better known as Entourage's Vincent Chase, has entered the realm of music mediocrity with his band The Honey Brothers.
Hordes of young girls and bridge-and-tunnelers turned out at Stereo club last Friday in Manhattan to hear the band perform a lackluster four-song set. Amid piercing screeches of mic feedback during the first two songs, Grenier (known by his band persona Honey DuContra) looked at ease drumming for the four-man outfit, which was formed "one dog year ago at ukulele fantasy camp."

The crowd went crazy when the actor took the stage, shoving so many camera phones in the air that clubbers up front nearly clocked each other in the face—several wiser star-gazers retreated to safer ground in the back of the club. Oddly, shortly after the band began playing, the enthusiasm died.
