Could transsexual Alexis Arquette be faking a feud for tabloid attention? Patricia, David, and Rosanna's gender-bending sister Alexis (born as brother Robert) recently griped publicly that Us Weekly magazine editor Ian Drew was taking advantage of her friendship and her "celebrity"—just in time for the opening of her film, Alexis Arquette: She's My Brother, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York last week.
In one scene from the biopic, Drew runs a damaging quote from a friend of Surreal Life alum Arquette in Us Weekly. She rages, and the friendship the two enjoyed seemingly ends. But on Tuesday night, at Star Lounge in Manhattan, the sexually reassigned Arquette chummed it up with Drew, laughing together in a back room and even belting out a duet of Abba's "Take a Chance on Me."
At one point, RadarOnline.com overheard Arquette remark to Drew: "We should break a glass on the floor and stage a fight so people don't get the wrong idea and think we still like each other."
The duo parted with a friendly kiss and went their separate ways—presumably until the next issue of Us comes out and they rekindle their salacious hatred of one another.
