Wendy Williams Cancels Shows All Week After Second TV Health Scare
Is Wendy Williams okay?
One day after the show host almost collapsed (again) on live TV, the star announced she would be cancelling shows all week due to her flu diagnosis.
"Wendy is still experiencing flu-like symptoms, and so she can rest up and get better, we have decided to cancel tapings the rest of the week," a spokesperson for the show told Page Six on Wednesday, February 14.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Williams, 53, had a terrifying health scare when she suddenly collapsed during a live episode of The Wendy Williams Show on Halloween.
After worried fans freaked out about the incident, Williams took to social media to assure everyone that she was just fine.
"I'm overheated in my costume and I did pass out. But you know what? I'm a champ and I'm back," she said at the time, even making jokes about her scary fainting.
Williams also clarified that she had been thoroughly checked by doctors and everything was okay.
