According to a family friend, Daddio, who was the father of Vanderpump's other Pomeranian, Giggy, "was fully clothed and in his bed" and "looked very at peace."

Now RadarOnline.com can reveal that the dog died from a heart attack hours before the couple got home.

As Vanderpump mourns the loss of one of her closest companions, she has decided to let Daddio's memory live on through her philanthropic work.

On Dec. 23, Vanderpump, Todd and their partners at Vanderpump Pets rescued three dogs from being slaughtered in the upcoming Yulin China Dog Meat Festival.
